The Stills Get Back In The Studio

It's been a good while since The Stills have seen the inside of a recording studio, but the band has officially hung up their touring shoes for the time being. The post-rock quartet has returned to a Montreal studio to being work on their second full-length album, which will hopefully be able to see light in 2005. Although they aren't sure when the album will be complete, The Stills are hoping to have the first single from the record out this summer.

But before The Stills produce a single from the new record, they decided to pull out another stop from their 2003 debut album "Logic Will Break Your Heart". Chris Grismer directed the video for "Love and Death" (he also did Death From Above 1979 and Arcade Fire vids), and the clip has already seen some good airtime on Much Music. Nice guys that they are, The Stills invited their pal to star in the video - Emily Haines of Metric and Broken Social Scene fame can be seen playing a whacked out secretary.
