Tree63 Expand žThe AnswerÓ, Plan Follow-Up

Published: 2005-02-11
This spring alt-Christian band Tree63 will release a new spruced up version of their February 2004 album "The Answer To The Question". The expanded version of the 10-track album will be available on March 1st, and will include the addition of single "The Maker of All Things", new song "Paradise", the video and chords of "King", and several acoustic tracks.

Not only will "The Answer To The Question" get a facelift this year, but Tree63 are heading back into the recording studio to work on their next album. The as-yet-untitled project will be Tree63's fourth North American release, and can be expected sometime this fall, with a definite release date to be announced later.

Although North American audiences just got to know Tree63 this decade, the trio have been around for quite sometime. Their 2000 self-titled American debut was actually a compilation of re-recorded tracks from their first two albums "Overflow" and "63". The albums were released in '97 and '99, respectively, but only in the United Kingdom and Tree63's native South Africa.

In other Tree63 news, the band's song "Blessed Be Your Name" (which was written by Matt and Beth Redman) is up for two Dove Awards this year. The track has a chance at the "Song of the Year" and "Worship Song of the Year" awards from the Gospel Music Association. Winners of the Dove Awards will be announced in Nashville on April 13th.
