this is such bull crap! no GC, BFS, GreenDay?!?!? those bands are the reason I go to Warped Tour! now that they're gone I'm so not gonna go!
Posted by: Anonymous on February 13, 2005
for those who ask "where is the punk?" i have this response:
dropkick murphys
Millencolin
No Use For a Name
Offspring (remember the old stuff?)
Strike Anywhere (one of the best punk bands)
Strung Out
plus, Thrice, Silverstein, Tsunami Bomb

So yeah, no Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, AFI, Green Day or Pennywise, but still enough great bands to make it worth your while.

Ummm..... there is plenty of punk in this line up. besides its Emo-Screamo and Post Hardcore that is "in" right now. But I wish that blink would get back together and play at least in san diego. what this line up is missing:

Blink 182!!!!!
Anberlin
Spitalfield
Bayside
Lola Ray
Nofx
New Found Glory
The Vandals
Over It
Yellowcard
No Doubt
Melee

the most important ones are ANBERLIN AND MELEE!!!

I have no problem with the bands this year. They arent completely famous, so there will be less people. people usually go c the bigger bands. now there will be less people, and its gonna be better. so stop complaining.

Not enough good punk this year, but what the heck, I'm going. Warped is TRADITION. I can see how a lot of punk bands might stay away though, what with the proliferation of emo this year and last, though. No Casualties? Ah well. Warped is always fun.
