Queen of the Stone Age Set To 'Paralyze' North America

Heavy metal favourites Queen Of The Stone Age are preparing to make their return to the world of tour buses and night driving this spring. The North American leg of the band's tour in support of their upcoming release "Lullabies To Paralyze" will kick off March 15th in Austin, Texas, and wrap up 21-stops later in Los Angeles. QOTSA's touring plans include 6 Canadian dates; 3 in the oft neglected Prairie Provinces.

"Lullabies To Paralyze" is Queen Of The Stone Age's fourth full-length, and the follow-up to their 2002 breakthrough "Songs For The Deaf". Released on March 22nd, the record will be QOTSA's third for Interscope Records, which is also home to the likes of U2 and Gwen Stefani. The first single lifted from "Lullabies To Paralyze" is called "Little Sister", and can already be heard on the radio.

Guest appearances on the 14-song "Lullabies To Paralyze" include Dean Ween (of MontrČal duo Ween), Shirley Manson of Garbage, and Brody Dalle of The Distillers. In related news, QOTSA frontman Josh Homme's side project Eagles Of Death Metal have been working on a new album, called "Death By Sexy".

i have been trying for 2 weeks to get tickets for the april 11 qotsa show. ticketmaster doesnt know what im talking about and neither does red's. is it still a for sure thing that they are coming? (from edmonton by the way)
