Projet Orange Play Ottawa, Toronto

Published: 2005-02-04
Quebec cross-over band Projet Orange are continuing their quest to win over the hearts of Canadians, and with their first English single 'Tell All Your Friends' a gigantic hit over at Much Music, they're well on their way. To help continue their success with the English-speaking folk, Projet Orange have a few gigs lined-up around Ontario.

On February 19th the Boies brothers will travel to Lindsay, Ontario in support of their latest album 'Megaphobe'. The sibling duo is also set to play the Zaphod Beeblebrox in Ottawa later this month, on February 23rd. Projet Orange will also be hitting up Canadian Music Week, playing Toronto's legendary Horseshoe Tavern on March 5th.

To most people in Canada, it seems like Projet Orange are a brand spanking new band, however, that's not even close to the truth. They had one of the most impressive French Canadian debuts in recent history back in 2001, and toured their native province extensively. It was only after a life-altering illness that Jean-Sebastian and Jean-Christophe wrote their first lyrics in English.

It turned out to be a good move for the brothers as Megaphobe' was the product. So far one extremely successful single has been lifted off of the album ('Tell All Your Friends' has been on the Much Music countdown for who knows how long). Projet Orange's upcoming gigs:

February 19 Lindsay, ON - Flemming College
February 23 Ottawa, ON - Zaphod Beeblebrox
March 5 Toronto, ON - Horseshoe Tavern (CMW)
