"It's Time" For Another Michael BublČ Album

Published: 2005-02-04
This month Canadian crooner Michael BublČ will release his second studio album, and from the looks of things, it's going to be a highly successful one indeed. The singer's sophomore effort has been titled "It's Time", and although it doesn't hit shelves until February 8th, it's already been certified platinum in this country. What this means is that pre-orders for "It's Time" already exceed 100,000 copies in Canada.

The follow-up to BublČ's self-titled debut, "It's Time" features 13 newly recorded tracks from the Vancouver native. Along with covers of Marvin Gaye's "How Good It Is" and The Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love", "It's Time" features a track written by BublČ himself, "Home", which also happens to be the lead single. Also included on the disc is a duet with fellow West Coaster Nelly Furtado, called "Quando, Quando, Quando".

Quickly becoming better known for his knack for fostering and exposing up-and-coming talent (finds include Josh Groban, Greg Sczebel) than his composing, legendary producer David Foster sat behind the boards on BublČ's "It's Time" project. Foster also produced BublČ's 2003 eponymous debut.

To support "It's Time", the Juno-award winning BublČ is planning to set out on a world tour. Not only will BublČ be continent hopping, but he will actually head out on his first extensive tour of Canada this spring.

The track-listing of Michael BublČ's "It's Time":

'Feeling Good'
'A Foggy Day (In London Town)'

'The More I See You'
'Save The Last Dance For Me'
'Try A Little Tenderness'
