Soul ShineŪs ALL 4 INDIE Gig Benefits Tsunami Relief

Published: 2005-02-02
With the whole world coming together to help victims of the tsunami, Soul Shine Magazine wants to do its part and contribute to the relief effort. Being that Soul Shine celebrates all of the talented acts Canada possesses, it only made sense to bring the two elements together in our ALL 4 INDIE night at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern.

We've brought some of Toronto's best indie bands together for the February 17th gig; the bill features guitar-rock trio Turn Off The Stars, funk-rockers Afflatus, punks Leviride, and 80s-inspired four-piece Showroom. All four bands are known for the spectacular live shows, so the night promises to pack a punch befitting the legendary Horseshoe.

Not only will ALL 4 INDIE help out victims of the tsunami and showcase Toronto's best, but a few lucky audiences members will walk out richer than they entered. Quesada Mexican Grill - recently named "Best Lunch in Toronto" by Eye Weekly - has donated dinner for 4, and all four bands have provided signed merchandise for an ALL 4 INDIE gift basket. Winners will be drawn at the event, so make sure you get there early.

Since Soul Shine loves our readers so much, you (yes you!) get a special discount at the door. All you have to do is print out the Soul Shine Members coupon and magically the cover charge drops from $8 to $6. Don't worry if you're not a member yet, all you have to do is sign-up by clicking on the "Sign-Up" link on the top right hand corner of the screen.

Here's all the information again:
