Sarah Slean Expands Cross-Country Tour

Published: 2005-01-27
The country's leading piano pixie Sarah Slean has decided to expand the reach of her 2005 tour and visit even more Canadian cities this winter. The singer has confirmed all of her Quebec dates, and has tacked a few Maritime shows onto the end of the tour as well, which will bring her into spring. All in all Slean is looking at a total of 35 shows (it appears she didn't want to leave any city out, and that is probably well appreciated by all the concert-deprived music fans across the land).

Slean is traipsing across Canada in order to spread the word about her new full-length called 'Day One'. The 11-track record is the singer/songwriter's second major-label release, and hit stores on September 28th, 2004. Her critically acclaimed major-label debut came in the form of 'Night Bugs' in that long lost year of 2002.

Joining Slean for most of the dates on her ambitious 2005 tour is Vancouver-based artist Jeremy Fisher, who is promoting his new album 'Let It Shine'. Filling the opening slot for Slean's Quebec dates is Juno-nominated cellist Jorane, who is supporting her newest effort called 'The You and the Now'.
