Kings of Leon Release New LP, Tour North America

Published: 2005-01-19
With their sophomore album set to hit North America next month, Tennessee rockers the Kings of Leon are ready to recreate the success they had in the UK with 'Aha Shake Heartbreak'. The Brits have always seemed to be more kind to the quartet than us North Americans, but The Kings will be touring the album here nevertheless.

Things will kick off on in Portland, Oregon with five January dates after which KOL will jet off for three February gigs in Japan. They'll return to their homeland for the last half of the month, and they will continue on into March, finishing up on March 19th in Birmingham, Alabama. Out of the 23 performances scheduled, there is just one Canadian stop included on the North American leg of the band's tour: March 2nd in Toronto at the Opera House.

Those who aren't located in Toronto will have to make due with the follow-up to 'Youth and Young Manhood'. Here's the track-listing of 'Aha Shake Heartbreak', out in stores on February 22nd:

'Slow Night, So Long'
'King of the Rodeo'
'Taper Jean Girl'
'Pistol of Fire'
'The Bucket'
'Day Old Blues'
'Four Kicks'
'Velvet Snow'
