Sars Stock to be DVD

Nearly half a million people saw the concert in Downsview Park last July; by next summer the rest of the world will be able to see the history making event. The concert, which is being called SARS Stock, will be available on DVD in April or May. It is not known yet if all eleven hours of the concert footage will be on the DVD; but it will feature all 13 acts that appeared in the show.

Rolling Stones concert promoter Michael Cohl had this idea for a massive outdoor show running around in his mind for over 20 years. The concert was formally billed as Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto but became known as the SARS concert after the health tragedy that hit the city. The concert in Toronto was the first large outdoor show the Stones played since the show in Altamont in 1969 – a show that left some bad scars for band members. Michael Cohl managed to do something no one else had ever done with the Toronto show – there were no major incidents. The whole event went off nearly flawlessly. Police officials said that they arrested fewer people at the concert than they did on a typical Saturday night in Toronto's entertainment district. In the end Cohl said that the stars of the show were the people of Toronto.

Look for the DVD of the concert in early summer.

I enjoyed the Sars concert very much and I would love to get the whole DVD of the concert.
The only problem is it cost to much money and nobody is able to buy it. Why don't you make DVD's affordible for the average person.
Think about it.
