I Am Kloot Ready Third LP

Published: 2005-01-04
Fans of Manchester trio I Am Kloot will be glad to note that the band's newest full-length album is well on its way. The unique indie poppers have been in the recording studio since August 2004, and their third studio album is in the final stages of preparations. The band has titled the effort 'Gods and Monsters', and it will be the follow-up record to the bands critically acclaimed 2003 self-titled album.

Although a concrete date hasn't been set for 'Gods and Monsters', the 12-track album can be expected to hit shelves sometime in April 2005, released through the Echo Label in the UK. The first single to be lifted from 'Gods and Monsters' is called 'Over My Shoulder', which many I Am Kloot fans may already be familiar with.

To support 'Gods and Monsters', I Am Kloot are ready to embark on two bouts of dates in their native UK. The band will be playing five pub shows in January, with the four London dates already completely sold out, during which they will be previewing new material as well as revisiting older songs. Closer to the album's release the three-piece will set off again in April, with 18 dates scheduled so far.
