Death From Above 1979 Warm Up

Published: 2004-12-24
It seems as if the lives of Death From Above 1979's Sebastien Grainger and Jesse Keeler has become just one long, continuous tour. They've been going steady since September 2004, and they will continue to make people dance right into the New Year. The majority of DFA1979's January and February will be spent overseas, but before the duo leaves they will play a few warm up dates in North America.

There are four North American shows scheduled for January, with one of them happening in the city of Kingston, Ontario. Although there is just one Canadian gig scheduled for 2005, fans have a chance to catch Death From Above 1979 at one last show before the year finishes out. Grainger and Keeler will be playing their home base of Toronto on December 30th.

Immediately following their short warm-up tour, DFA1979 will jet off to begin the UK leg of their tour. The reason the duo is heading back across the Atlantic is to support their debut album 'You're A Woman, I'm A Machine', which has put the band through the hype machine, although on slow speed. Following their jaunt around Britain, the band will hit Japan and Australia. For a full listing of the band's world dates, go to

January 21 Kingston, ON - The Grad Club
