Maps of the Night Sky Celebrate 'Twilighters'

Although Toronto-based band Maps of the Night Sky release their debut record in on September 7th, 2004, they have yet to send the album out into the world with a big bang. That will be changing shortly as the indie pop trio has finally scheduled an official release party for the 'Twilighters' EP.

The celebrations will be taking place on January 14th in the band's hometown of Toronto at the Cameron House. Maps of the Night Sky won't be the only band on the bill that evening, as fellow Toronto artist Frank Atom and Montrealer Sally Field will be joining them for the occasion. At the moment the trio has one other date scheduled for January, which will see them play Windsor, Ontario.

After Maps of the Night Sky released the 'Twilighters' EP in September, they embarked on their very first major tour. Together in some form since 2001, the band has really only been racking up live shows since early 2004.
