Sea Snakes Slither Around Canada

Published: 2004-12-21
To support their debut full-length album 'Clear As Day, The Darkest Tools', power pop band Sea Snakes are doing the logical thing and heading out on tour. The Toronto-based quintet has 10 performances lined-up for 2005, and just one more left for the remainder of 2004. Three of Sea Snakes' gigs are happening in the USA (including a show at the Knitting Factory in New York City), but the rest are scheduled for Eastern Canada.

The very last Sea Snakes show of '04 is taking place in the band's hometown of Toronto on December 30th at Sneaky Dee's. Following that they'll open up '05 with a January show in Toronto before heading out on their February/March tour. At the moment the last date the five-piece has scheduled is March 12th in Montreal, Quebec.

Released in September of this year, the band's debut 'Clear As Day, The Darkest Tools' was put into the world after Sea Snakes had called themselves a band for just barely two years. The record was released through Three Gut Records, which is also home to the likes of The Constantines and Gentlemen Reg.
