Following the release of their newest full-length album 'So Jealous', folk-rock duo Tegan and Sara toured the United States extensively. With the exception of 8 shows back in September, Canada saw an entirely Tegan and Sara-less 2004. Finally, with the rise of the New Year, the Quin twins will return to their home and native land to perform for their Canadian fans.
Their 'Winter 2005 Canadian Tour' is set to kick off on February 2nd in Tegan's current home of Vancouver, finishing up on the opposite side of the country in Sara's current home of Montreal on February 19th. At the moment Tegan and Sara have 13 shows scheduled for February, but promises have been made that more shows will be announced in the near future.
Accompanying the Calgary-born sisters during their cross-Canada jaunt is Toronto-based singer/songwriter Lindy, who is out supporting his newest LP 'Suspension of Disbelief'.
Released in September of 2004, 'So Jealous' is Tegan and Sara's fourth studio album. The record saw the Quin sisters get behind the boards and co-produce alongside David Carswell, John Collins, and Howard Redekopp (all of whom have worked alongside and/or belong to many beloved Canadian acts including The New Pornographers, The Evaporators, and The Smugglers). Featuring 14 tracks, 'So Jealous' is the follow-up to 'If It Was You', which hit shelves in the summer of 2002.
