Leviride Record New Album, Tour

Published: 2004-12-17
Toronto power-pop band Leviride is using the rest of their 2004 to get their 2005 underway. The quartet is currently working away on what will become their next studio album, which at this point still does not have a title. Holed up in a studio since last month, Leviride has been working alongside Stephen Pitkin. Pitkin has worked with other Canadian bands like The Flashing Lights and Elliott Brood.

Although their new album doesn't have a release date yet, Leviride are ready to get out there and play some lives shows for their fans in early 2005. The four-piece currently has just three dates scheduled, but check back to www.leviride.com for constant updates. During their January 21st show in Toronto the band will also be releasing a new CD single that goes by the name of 'Your Remains'.

When they're done with their new record, it will become Leviride's second full-length album. The band's debut LP was called 'Nothing's Getting Better' and was released in February 2004 through Northern Light Records. For the album Leviride also worked alongside Stephen Pitkin, who is back again for their new effort.

Leviride's upcoming performances:

January 14 Brampton, ON - Friends (formerly Amigo's)
January 21 Toronto, ON - The Horseshoe Tavern
January 22 Sudbury, ON - The Townehouse Tavern
