The Sadies Hit The Stage

Published: 2004-12-10
In continuing support of their newest full-length album 'Favourite Colours', alt-rock band The Sadies will play the year 2004 until it ceases to exist, and will then continue on to 2005. The Toronto quartet currently has four dates scheduled: two for December and two for January.

The band's first gig of the month will happen in just six days on December 16th in Campbleford, Ontario. The Sadies last performance in December will fall on the last day of 2004 (which would be the 31st). They'll be ringing in the New Year in their hometown of Toronto at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern.

Released earlier this year (in August to be exact), 'Favourite Colours' is The Sadies' fifth studio album. Featured providing backup vocals for the disc is none other than Ms. Neko Case herself. The Sadies' and Case's musical collaborations don't end there, as you can hear the "surf, garage, country, rock" band on Case's recently released live album. That record is called 'The Tigers Have Spoken' and just hit shelves on November 9th, 2004.

The Sadies' upcoming gigs:

December 16 Campbelford, ON - Aron Theatre
December 31 Toronto, ON - The Horseshoe
January 7 Montreal, QC - Le Swimming
January 8 Montreal, QC - Le Swimming
