Luther Vandross Aims To Attend Grammys

After winning two American Music Awards and being presented with a platinum plaque by J Records executive Clive Davis, Luther Vandross wants to attend the Grammy Awards in February. The album "Dance With My Father" was released in June two months after Vandross had a stroke. Since the release of the CD, it has sold over 1.5 million copies. Vandross has not been seen in public since his stroke, but has expressed a desire to attend the Grammy Awards ceremonies. Vandross has five Grammy nominations for "Dance With My Father". Davis said that it is possible but he was not holding out hope either way. Vandross still uses a wheelchair and he has good days and bad days.
