The Salads Dish Up Charity Benefit

Published: 2004-12-06
If the idea of cheese curds, piping hot gravy and deep fried potatoes doesn't appeal to your taste buds you might want to avoid Yonge-Dundas Square this coming Sunday. But if you like supporting a good cause, and enjoy visual spectacles such as the world's largest poutine, then by all means head down to the square between two and four p.m. to see musical guests The Salads and support the Daily Bread Food Bank. Confused? The Salads and the CBC after school comedy program The X will be on hand to construct the world's largest poutine and then dish out servings with sales proceeds going to the food bank. Daily Bread will also be on hand to accept donations of non-perishable food items.
