Raising The Fawn Tour, Return To Studio

Published: 2004-12-03
Before they head back into the studio in early 2005, Ontario trio Raising The Fawn will play a series of shows this December. The rock band currently has 7 shows scheduled for this month, with all them happening on Canadian soil except for two New York City shows. The short winter jaunt is set to kick off on December 9th in Windsor, ON, finishing off just five days before Santa Claus comes to town in Toronto.

Raising The Fawn continue to perform in support of their sophomore album 'The North Sea'. The 8-track album was released in February of this year, and saw the band criss-cross the continent for most of 2004. Although there haven't been too many details released on RTF's upcoming album yet, the three-piece have already started making demos of the songs for their upcoming third LP.

When the band heads into the studio in the New Year, they'll be dragging producer Marty Kinack along with them. Kinack is known for his work with other adored Canadian artists like Sarah Harmer and Hayden. Some of the song titles that might find their way onto Raising The Fawn's new record include 'Carbon Paper' and 'The Cloak and the Veil', both of which fans will be able to hear at the band's upcoming gigs.

Raising The Fawn's upcoming performances:

December 9 Windsor, ON - Phog
December 11 Hamilton, ON - The Underground (Sonic Unyon Xmas Party)
December 18 Ottawa, ON - Capital Music
December 19 Montreal, QC - Club Soda
December 20 Toronto, ON - Kool Haus
