Lowest of the Low Ready to Ring in Ž05

Published: 2004-12-03
Toronto quartet Lowest of the Low are set to entertain their home-province fans this December, with a few dates around Ontario. After a ten year absence from the recording studio, Lowest of the Low released their newest effort 'Sordid Fiction' earlier this fall. It is that recording that the four-piece will be promoting as they play London, Ontario on December 16th, and Toronto on the following day.

The very, very last performance of 2004 that the reunited band is set to play will happen on December 31st, also known as New Year's Eve. Lowest of the Low will be celebrating the event along with friends and a few hundred audience members as they rock The Casbah in Hamilton, Ontario.

Creators of one of the most successful independent albums Canada has ever seen, Lowest of the Low broke-up in 1994 after releasing just two albums (the highly successful 'Shakespeare My Butt' and it's follow-up 'Hallucigenia'). The beloved alternative band put aside past problems and reformed in 2000, touring the country much to the approval of their rabid fans. Since they've gotten back together, Lowest of the Low have released one live album, and finally their extremely long-awaited third studio album 'Sordid Fiction' appeared on September 21st, 2004.

Lowest of the Low's upcoming gigs:

December 16 London, ON - Call The Office
December 17 Toronto, ON - Mod Club
December 31 Hamilton, ON - The Casbah
