The Silent Film Soundtrack Are Good Samaritans

Published: 2004-12-02
In continuing support of their debut album 'Modern Time', pop-rock quartet The Silent Film Soundtrack will play a few shows this December. The Waterloo band currently has four performances scheduled for the remainder of 2004, with all of the events taking place in their home province of Ontario.

Two of The Soundtrack's gigs will be in support of the Guelph Mental Health Network. Joined by the likes of Lenin i Shumov and the lengthily named Bob Wiseman Stables Club Band, all of the proceeds gained from the performances will go to the foundation. The two shows will get underway on December 10th in Guelph, and the following night in Toronto.

In terms of existence The Silent Film Soundtrack has been around an incredibly short time. The band only formed in the spring of 2003 and the current TSFS line-up was just solidified in the beginning of 2004. Considering the very short period of time they've been together, the pop-rock quartet has done quite well for themselves. Their debut release 'Modern Time' was put into the world this past June, featuring 9 of the band's original songs and clocking in at 26 minutes.
