Catch 22 Spread Holiday Cheer

Published: 2004-12-01
Hailing from New Jersey, ska-punk combo Catch 22 has decided to fill up their December with a short tour of the continent. They'll kick off the 13-stop jaunt across North America on December 5th in New Haven, Connecticut, and finish the tour one day before the year finishes (December 30th) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Although it looks as if the boys in the band haven't booked any holiday time for themselves, things aren't as Scrooge-like as they appear. The members of Catch 22 will take a break following their December 17th gig in Reading, Pennsylvania, starting it up again on Boxing Day. On their month long tour, Catch 22 has a total of four Canadian performances scheduled; all of them will take place in Ontario.

As they brave the snow and ice that comes with the winter season, Catch 22 will be out supporting their latest album 'Dinosaur Sounds'. The 12-track effort, which is the band's third studio album, was released just over a year ago through Victory Records. The most recent release from the New Jersey punks was put out this November in the form of a live DVD/CD. 'Catch 22 Live' features performance footage of the group, as well as some bonus material.

Catch 22's upcoming gigs:

December 8 Ottawa, ON - Mavericks
December 9 Toronto, ON - The Opera House
December 10 Guelph, ON - Shadow
December 11 London, ON - Call The Office
