Dirty Vegas Offer Up Seconds

Just before December rears its head, the newest album from British trio Dirty Vegas is set to hit store shelves. The 10-track record which has been christened 'One' will become available for purchase on November 30th. Released through Capitol records, 'One' is the electronica artist's second full-length album.

When one thinks of the elements featured in electronic music, an orchestra isn't typically one of them. But that is just what can be found on Dirty Vegas' newest offering. The inclusion of an 8 piece orchestra among other instruments is all in part of the trio's effort to get 'One' a more organic feel than their previous work. To promote 'One', Dirty Vegas are currently touring North America as support band for Tears For Fears.

The track-listing of Dirty Vegas' 'One' is:

'Home Again'
'Human Love'
'Walk Into The Sun'
'A Million ways'
'Don't Throw It Away!'
'In This Life'
'Given You Everything'
'Save Me Now'

After one of their songs - 'Days Go By' to be specific - made a lucky appearance in a Mitsubishi commercial, Dirty Vegas found themselves in a maelstrom of attention. Though the single had already enjoyed a heap of success in Britain, it was the first taste of the trio that many North Americans received. The success of 'Days Go By' helped to move quite a few copies of the band's self-titled debut album, and even earned the boys a Grammy for Best Dance Single.

I'm obsessed with "Walk Into the Sun". I think it's their best song yet. I found a great link by the way to a contest to win Dirty Vegas stuff... check this out: http://www.filter-mag.com/contests/interior.121.html
