Golden Dogs Take Their Show On The Road

Published: 2004-11-23
Word is that the hyperactive stage antics of Golden Dogs frontman Dave Azzolini are well on their way to becoming legendary, and music fans in Quebec and Ontario will have a chance to check them out for themselves this winter. The pop-rock band has 7 shows scheduled for November and December, with the first happening in Montreal in just two days on November 25th.

In addition to The Golden Dogs, the Thursday gig for Concordia's CJLO Radio will also feature fellow Canadian acts Boy and The Lovely Feathers. Led by Stephen Kozmeniuk, Boy is currently touring the country in support of their second full-length 'Every Page You Turn'. Montreal quartet The Lovely Feathers are promoting their debut album 'My Best Friend Daniel', which was self-released in September 2004.

Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, the five members of The Golden Dogs are still playing in support of their debut full-length album. Originally independently released in September 2003, 'Everything in 3 Parts' recently received a makeover and new life. The band re-recorded the 12-track album for major label True North Records/Universal at Chemical Studios. 'Everything in 3 Parts' was re-released to the world in June 2004 with a shiny new face.

So far two singles have been lifted off of 'Everything in 3 Parts. First single 'Can't Get Your Face Out Of My Head' has done quite well in the college radio scene, and the video for latest single 'Yeah!' has just been released to music television across the continent.

The Golden Dogs' upcoming gigs:

November 25 Montreal, QC - Le Swimming (CJLO showcase)
November 26 Ottawa, ON - Zaphod Beeblebrox
November 27 North Bay, ON - The Bull & Quench
December 3 Windsor, ON - The Avalon
December 4 Peterborough, ON - The Trasheteria
December 10 Hamilton, ON - The Casbah
December 17 Toronto, ON - The Rivoli
