The Salads Have Gone Wild!

Published: 2004-11-18
Although many Canadian bands are severely lacking in the crazy rock'n'roll behaviour department, Ontario's The Salads may make up for their peers. On November 23rd the band will release a DVD appropriately titled 'Band Gone Wild'. The release features a full concert, videos, studio footage, as well as private footage from the members of The Salads.

In addition to picking up 'Band Gone Wild' to add to their own collection, fans with digital cable will be able to see parts of the DVD before it's even released. Viewer's Choice Preview Channels will be airing The Salads' 2003 performance at Toronto's Opera House, which is included on the disc, from November 20th through to November 22nd.

The Salads are also set to play one more show before the year finishes out. They'll be playing a hometown show in Newmarket, Ontario on November 26th at Old York Hall. Good news for the minors, as the show will be an all ages event. The last album that The Salads unleashed upon the world was 'Fold A to B', which was released in February of 2003. The 12-track record was the follow-up to the band's 1998 debut called 'MeanwhileÖ'.
