A Northern Chorus Prepare Album, Tour

Published: 2004-11-18
While they put the finishing touches on their brand new album, space-pop band A Northern Chorus will play few dates around Ontario. The Hamilton five-piece has two upcoming performances scheduled, both taking place in December. The first is happening on December 11th, when they will join label mates Sianspheric, Raising The Fawn, Sleeper Set Sail, and The Nein to play a Christmas show for Sonic Unyon records.

That upcoming album from A Northern Chorus can be expected to hit shelves in early 2005. The record, which the band has titled 'Bitter Hands Resign', is the follow-up to the 11-track 'Spirit Flags'. Following the release of 'Bitter Hands Resign', A Northern Chorus has promised that they will head out on an extensive tour of both Canada and the US.

When the band's new album finally does become available for purchase, it will mark the release of A Northern Chorus's third album. The band's last record 'Spirit Flags' was released in 2003, while the quartet's debut was dropped in the year 2001. Released re-pressed by A Northern Chorus, 'Before We All Go To Pieces' (featuring 8 songs), will be available for fans to buy at the band's upcoming shows.

A Northern Chorus' upcoming dates:

December 11 Hamilton, ON - The Underground (Sonic Unyon Christmas Show)
December 19 St. Catharines, ON - L3
