Creed's 'Greatest Hits' Available Soon

Published: 2004-11-17
Though Creed recently broke-up due to unhappy circumstances, fans of the rock band will be able to remember them in all their glory. On November 23rd, a final greatest hits collection from the rock band will be put on store shelves. Stuck with the straightforward name of 'Greatest Hits', the album will include both an audio and visual component.

The audio part of 'Greatest Hits' features thirteen tracks, eight of which were number ones hits at some point. Spanning the entirety of Creed's nine year career, the retrospective includes songs from all three of Scott Stapp and Co.'s full-length albums.

Included on the DVD section of the greatest hits release are all of Creed's music videos (which totals up at 9), as well as some previously unreleased footage. The unreleased material is comprised of three live performances from the band: 'Torn', taken from a 1997 Toronto show; 'Higher', which was performed in Las Vegas, on the roof of the Rio; and 'Weathered', which was also taken from a high-heights Las Vegas performance, but this time Creed was atop the Stratosphere.

Personal issues between band members (specifically vocalist Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti) are what led to Creed's demise earlier this year. During their time together the Christian rockers released 'My Own Prison' (1997), 'Human Clay' (1999), and 'Weathered' (2001), which have had combined sales of over 28 million copies worldwide.

The track-listing of Creed's 'Greatest Hits':

'Torn'
'My Own Prison'
'What's This Life For'
'One'
'Are You Ready'
'Higher'
'With Arms Wide Open'
'What If'
'One Last Breath'
'Don't Stop Dancing'
'Bullets'
'My Sacrifice'
'Weathered'

The best music that doesnt have HARD rock in it, but makes up for it with nice smooth beats in rock. Overall i think this is my most favorite band, and the best band, These guys are like music gods when it comes to their music.
