Holly Golightly 'Slowly But Surely' Tours

Published: 2004-11-12
To promote her newly released record 'Slowly But Surely', rocker Holly Golightly is prepared to tour North America in an extensive way. The singer kicked off her fall tour on October 14th in New York City, and it isn't due to finish until November 18th in Toronto, Ontario. There are a total of 38 scheduled stops on Golightly's North American tour, with just three of them falling on Canadian soil.

Put on shelves this October, 'Slowly But Surely' is Golightly's thirteenth studio album. Golightly recorded the 12-track album in spring of this year, which also saw the release of a live album called 'Down Gina's at 3'. The follow-up to her most successful album to date 'Truly She Is None Other' (released 2003), 'Slowly But Surely' was produced by Liam Watson, who also worked with Golighty's former band Thee Headcoatees.

The track-listing of 'Slowly But Surely' looks like this:

'On The Fire'
'The Luckiest Girl'
'My Love Is'
'Keeping On'
'Always and Forever'
'Dear John'
'In Your Head'
'Slowly But Surely'
'Through Sun and Wine'
'All Grown Up;
'Won't Come Between'
'Mother Earth'

After she broke away from Thee Headcoatees in the early '90s, Golightly went on to release her first solo album in 1995. Titled 'Good Things', the songs saw the British singer/songwriter change her previous sound, and move toward a more relaxed style of rock'n'roll.

Holly Golightly's upcoming gigs:

November 26 Montreal, QC - El Salon
November 27 Ottawa, ON - Barrymore's
November 28 Toronto, ON - The Horseshoe Tavern
