Kasabian's Debut Released In North America

The latest of gritty rock'n'rollers to appear in Britain, Kasabian's debut album is finally ready to hit the shelves of North American record stores. Released in early September in their homeland, the band's self-titled debut has gained critical-acclaim from the British press. The 10-track album is set for release this very day (also known as November 9th) through BMG/RCA records.

Famous for "guerrilla gigging", Kasabian, along with many of their peers are known for bring a DIY feel back to the London music scene. While chances are nil that Kasabian will try the latest gigging fad in North America, the four-piece will bring their music to the continent in November. Kasabian's first and so far, only, North American show will happen on November 18th in New York City at the Bowery Ballroom.

The first single released from 'Kasabian' in the UK was first track 'Club Foot', which was then followed by 'Reason Is Treason', 'L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)', and finally 'Processed Beats'. Although Kasabian don't have any music samples on their site (www.kasabian.co.uk), their tracks can be heard at various other places on the internet.
