Aerosmith Release First-Ever Live DVD

Published: 2004-11-04
Originally aired as a two-hour special on television station A&E, Aerosmith's 'You Gotta Move' is set for release on DVD. In addition to the version aired back in June of this year, the DVD version of 'You Gotta Move' will include five songs not shown on television. Not only will fans be able to buy the concert footage, but the release will also come with an audio component as well.

Released through Columbia records on November 23rd, 'You Gotta Move' is actually Aerosmith's very first live concert DVD. Many of the songs the veteran rockers performed for the taping are taken from the band's latest release 'Honkin' on Bobo'. The blues inspired record was put on shelves in March of 2004, and became Aerosmith's fourteenth studio-album in their nearly four decade long career.

In addition to the 'Honkin' on Bobo' tracks included on 'You Gotta Move' are quite a few Aerosmith classics, which span the band's career. 'Sweet Emotion', 'Cryin'', 'Walk This Way', 'Jaded', and 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing', Aerosmith's only number one hit (found on the soundtrack for the movie 'Armageddon', which starred lead singer Steve Tyler's daughter Liv) are also performed on 'You Gotta Move'.

The audio part of 'You Gotta Move' includes six songs taken from the concert Aerosmith performed for A&E. Some of the songs on the CD include 'Livin' on the Edge', and 'Same Old Song and Dance'.

The track-listing of 'You Gotta Move' is:

'Toys in the Attic'
'Love in an Elevator'
'Road Runner'
'Baby, Please Don't Go'
'Cryin''
'The Other Side'
'Back in the Saddle'
'Draw the Line'
'Dream On'
'Stop Messin' Around'
'Jaded'
'I Don't Want To Miss a Thing'
'Sweet Emotion'
'Never Loved a Girl
'Walk This Way'
'Train Kept a Rollin''
