Femme Generation Hit The Road

Published: 2004-11-01
Toronto's own funk-punk act Femme Generation are set to kick off a series of gigs this Friday (November 5th). At the moment the four-piece has 9 dates lined-up which will take them into December. They won't be venturing too far from home this fall, and will stick mainly to Ontario, with one date in Quebec.

In September 2004, Femme Generation's released their very first recording. It came in the form of an EP called 'Circle Gets The Square'. It's possible to download a few tracks from the 6-song record, including 'Emergency' and 'Honestly, Trudy' at the band's official site (www.femmegeneration.com).

Comprised of three Torontonians and one Montrealer, Femme Generation has quickly gained a name for itself. After just over a year as a band, Femme generation has already received many glowing reviews for their music (including one from Soul Shine - you can read a review of 'Circle Gets The Square' in the 'reviews' section).

November 4 Hamilton, ON - The Underground
November 5 Brantford, ON - The Ford Plant
November 6 Guelph, ON - Ed's Video Media Arts Centre
November 12 Kingston, ON - The Grad Club
