The Music Expand North American Tour

Published: 2004-10-29
Although they haven't even left the continent yet, Leeds' The Music already have plans to return to North America. The four-piece embarked on an extensive tour of North America in October, which originally had the band playing just two Canadian cities. Now that The Music has decided to expand their tour of the west, four more Canadian cities will get the chance to play host to the band.

The Canadian gigs that The Music had scheduled earlier are set to play out in just two days time, on October 31st (in Montreal) and November 1st (in Hamilton). The added dates are lined-up for early December, and this time the disco rockers will give the western end of the country a chance to see lead singer Rob Harvey's world-renowned dance moves. Tickets for The Music's December performances go on sale today (October 29th) through Ticketmaster.

Recently released on October 19th was The Music's newest LP called 'Welcome to the North'. The 11-track album is the follow-up to the band's well-received eponymous debut, which was put on shelves in 2002. It's possible to watch the video for first single 'Freedom Fighters' at The Music's official web site (

November 1 Hamilton, ON - Copps Coliseum
December 6 Vancouver, BC - Commodore Ballroom
December 8 Edmonton, AB - Red's
December 9 Calgary, AB - MacEwan Hall
