Ontario rockers The Tea Party kicked off their international tour this past Saturday (October 23rd) in New York City. Tonight (October 27th) will see the band play their first Canadian stop on the 21-date tour. The London, Ontario show was originally scheduled for Centennial Hall, but has now been moved to The Drink (where all tickets will be honoured). Not only will the trio kick around North America, they are set to head off to the land down under to play 7 gigs in Australia.

There are a total of 13 scheduled dates for The Tea Party in Canada, which will take them to five different provinces across the country. The trio is trekking around the globe to support their newest effort 'Seven Circles'. The 2004 album is appropriately named as it's the band's seventh full-length album to date.

First appearing in 1993 with the 11-track 'Splendor Solis', The Tea Party got off to a roaring start. Coming up on 15 years as a band, The Tea Party continue to be a large force in Canadian rock, their latest single 'Writing's On The Wall' is currently climbing up the charts.
