The Warlocks Test New Material on Tour

Published: 2004-10-25
American rock band The Warlocks have a lucky number of thirteen dates lined-up for October and November. The tour will kick off on October 29th with three dates in New York City, and finish up on the opposite coast with two dates in Los Angeles, California. During the middle of the tour come two Canadian dates, with one in Quebec and one in Ontario. Both of the Canadian dates will see Dead Meadow and Nassau open for The Warlocks.

It must be at least slightly challenging for the seven-member Warlocks to tour around the continent. The large band will be putting in the effort in order to try out the new songs from their upcoming studio-album. They've been in the recording studio since the summer, working on what will become their third full-length album. The as-yet-untitled record will be on shelves sometime next year.

The last album that The Warlocks released was 2002's 'Phoenix'. The 10-track album was released in the UK a year later, with a slightly different track-listing. The Warlocks formed in 1998, and put their first recording into the world in the form of a 6-song EP. Following the self-titled effort was the band's debut full-length album 'Rise and Fall' in 2001.

Upcoming dates for The Warlocks:

November 2 Montreal, QC - La Sala Rossa
November 3 Toronto, ON - El Mocambo
