The Godfather of Soul himself will be making a few visits to various Canadian cities this winter. Yes that's right, James Brown is set to stop in six different cities, in four different provinces during the snowy month of December. The first Canadian stop is scheduled for November 29th (it's almost December) in Toronto, Ontario, with the last date coming in on December 9th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
While he's now passed the 70-year-old mark, Brown can still hold his own on stage, keeping his name as one of the best performers music has ever seen. Famous for such hits as 'I Got You (I Feel Good)' and 'Papa's Got a Brand New Bag', among many, many others, James Brown has had no less than 92 of his songs enter into the Hot 100 singles chart.
Brown started out his music career way back in the 1950s, releasing his debut album 'Please, Please, Please' in 1959. Since then Brown has put out an innumerable amount of songs into the world, influencing everyone from Michael Jackson to Musiq, his funk music spanning the borders of genre.
