Raising The Fawn Head Home

Published: 2004-10-18
As the Canadian collective known as Broken Social Scene works on its next album, member John Crossingham will take his other project Raising The Fawn and play a few gigs this October. One of the many offshoots off Broken Social Scene, Raising The Fawn happens to be a trio that's released two albums to date.

Both of Raising The Fawn's upcoming performances will take place in Ontario. These shows come at the end of an extensive tour that saw the trio travel all across Canada, and into the United States. In addition to the Canadian dates this month, RTF recently played at CMJ in New York City.

The band's sophomore album was released in February of this year, and is titled 'The North Sea'. Eight tracks of melodic indie rock, 'The North Sea' was the follow-up to the band's 2001 self-titled debut.
