Matthew Barber Gets Some Alone Time

Published: 2004-10-15
Taking on the role of bard this fall, Matthew Barber is planning on playing a series of solo dates this fall. Without his band The Union Dues, Barber will go it alone for a few weeks, bringing his music to his fans. In addition to these upcoming solo gigs, of which there are currently four scheduled, Barber will be performing with his other band Live Country Music.

So far the three Canadian dates Barber has scheduled all take place in Ontario; the singer/songwriter also has one gig coming up in New York, New York. Check back to Barber's official site for constant updates on the artist's touring schedule.

After he's done rockin' around the country, Barber will be preparing for a very productive December. He and The Union Dues are set to return to the recording studio to create a brand new album. The last album that the band put out was 'The Story of Your Life EP' in 2004. The six-song record was the follow-up to the band's album proper 'Means and Ends' which was put on shelves in 2003.

Matthew Barber's upcoming solo dates:

November 16 Oakville, ON - Sheridan College
November 19 Peterborough, ON - Montreal House
November 20 Waterloo, ON - Starlight Room
