Femme Generation Represent Toronto

Published: 2004-10-14
Next Friday (October 22nd), one of Toronto's up and coming bands will rock the socks off of their hometown crowd. Femme Generation will be playing Sneaky Dee's on the 22nd to support their debut EP 'Circle Gets the Square'. The album was released in September of this year, showcasing the four-piece's retro inspired music.

Not only is Femme Generation set to take the stage on the Friday night, but the line-up also includes Priestess, Kick Me Kenneth, and The Smear Campaign. Tickets for the show are just $5 at the doors, which open at 9:00pm.

Playing some mighty impressive venues in their very first year together, Femme Generation has quickly become well-known both at home and abroad. Comprised of two former members of Bitter Fall, as well as a fellow Torontonian and one lone man from Montreal, Femme Generation has had the pleasure of playing both the legendary New York club CBGBs, and the equally legendary Horseshoe Tavern.

Available on the band's official site (www.femmegeneration.com) are clips of three of the six songs featured on 'Circle Gets The Square. To read Soul Shine's take on Femme Generation's 2004 EP check out the 'reviews' section of the website.
