Bee Gees Compile Their Chart Toppers

Published: 2004-10-13
There is one band that comes to mind when disco is mentioned, and it is rightly so. Masters of the genre, The Bee Gees have combined their numerous number ones onto one album for music fans to digest. The record, titled 'Number Ones', is set for release on November 9th. The album will have a variety of different track-listings in order to provide the best representation of the various international markets.

In North America 'Number Ones' will feature a total of 19 of The Bee Gees chart-topping singles. The tracks will run in chronological order starting with 1967's Massachusetts' and ending with 1987's 'You Win Again'. Also included with the audio portion of the release is a DVD component, for a limited time only.

There are only two remaining Gibb brothers left, as Maurice Gibb died in 2003. The final track of the album 'A Man in the Middle' was written and recorded by Maurice and included as a tribute from his brothers Robin and Barry. The three brothers made up The Bee Gees for nearly half a century.

Some of the songs included on 'Number Ones' are: 'Massachusetts', 'Jive Talkin'', 'How Deep is Your Love', 'Stayin' Alive', 'Night Fever', 'Tragedy' and 'You Win Again'.
