Bright Eyes Looks to Tour

The man known as Conor Oberst is set to take his musical embodiment Bright Eyes on tour this fall. There are a total of 9 dates scheduled for October, with just one stop in Canada. The tour begins today (that would be October 8th) in Fort Worth, Texas, finishing off in Vancouver, British Columbia eleven days later (which make it October 19th).

The latest offering from Bright Eyes is a 2004 EP entitled 'One Jug of Wine, Two Vessels'. The record houses six tracks that were created by both Oberst and indie pop band Neva Dinova. 'One Jug of Wine, Two Vessels' was released in April of this year. Next from Bright Eyes is not a full length album, but two singles ready for release on October 26th. Called 'Take It Easy: Love Nothing' and 'Lua', the singles will be released through Saddle Creek records, the label that has released the majority of Oberst's work.

Oberst first appeared on the music scene in with his debut album 'A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997. Although it was Bright Eyes' first album, the record didn't receive wide release until after 1998's 'Letting off the Happiness'. The most recent full-length album from Bright Eyes is 2002's 'Lifted or the Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground', which was put out when Oberst was 22 years old.
