Follow the Trail of Dead

Published: 2004-10-07
As they tote around one of the longest band names ever, ÷And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead will tour North America. Out of the 28 dates the Texan rockers have lined up for October and November, three of them will fall on Canadian soil. Two will be on the Eastern side of Canada, and one on the West Coast.

The four-piece will be out promoting their upcoming album 'Worlds Apart'. The LP won't actually be released until January 2005, but the single 'Worlds Apart' is set to hit stores on October 12th. Trail of Dead's last offering was 2003's 'The Secret of Elena's Tomb', a six song EP. The band's last proper album was their 2002 major label debut 'Source Tags and Codes'.

Picking up their long name from a Mayan summoning ceremony passage, AYWKUBTD basked in relative obscurity before they signed up with Interscope records. Previous to 'Source Tags and Codes' Trail of Dead released two full-length albums - a self-titled in 1998 and a 13-track record called 'Madonna' in 1999.

÷And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead's upcoming dates:

October 22 Montreal, QC - Caf» Campus
October 23 Toronto, ON - Opera House
November 4 Vancouver, BC - Commodore Ballroom
