Projektor Release Sophmore Effort

Published: 2004-09-27
Hailing from Winnipeg, the members of alt-rock band Projektor are preparing to release their second full-length album. Working away for over a year, Projektor have put all the finishing touches on 'Young Hearts Fail', which will see nationwide release this Tuesday, September 28th.

'Young Hearts Fail' is the follow-up to 2001's 'Red Wolf Glass', which were both released through Winnipeg label Endearing Records. The new album apparently has Projektor move "away from the epic atmospheric sound" to "a more immediate and driving rock focus". Presumably the 11-track album will still showcase the four-piece's darker brand of 80s inspired rock music.

The band has already celebrated the release of 'Young Hearts Fail' by playing a few shows in their hometown of Winnipeg this weekend. Projektor will most likely head out on tour to support the new album, but has just a few dates scheduled at this point. Those dates are: September 30th in Regina, Saskatchewan at The State, and October 2nd in Calgary at Broken City for the Western Canadian Music Awards.

Both of Projektor's albums are also available for purchase through Endearing Record's site at HYPERLINK ""
