Ronan Keating: '10 Years of Hits'

Published: 2004-09-20
Irish pop star Ronan Keating has been a force in the music world a lot longer than many of his peers. He's celebrating this fact by releasing a 'best of' compilation called '10 Years of Hits'. The album takes songs from both his solo career and his time with boy band Boyzone.

In addition to the songs released on Keating's three solo albums, and Boyzone's three records, there will be two new tracks featured on '10 Years of Hits'. 'I Hope You Dance' (also sung by country star LeAnn Womack) is one of these new songs, and is set to be the first single lifted from the compilation.

'10 Years of Hits' is set for an October 11th release in the UK, with a North American release presumably coming later.

Ten years in the music business is a great feat, but it becomes all the more impressive when you take into account that Keating is a mere 27 years old. The singer tried out for Boyzone when he was just 16, knocking out a load of hits with the band in just four years. Keating's first solo album was 2000's 'Ronan', followed by 'Destination' in 2002, and 2004's 'Turn It On' (read Soul Shine's take on the album in the 'Reviews' section).

Track-listing of '10 Years of Hits':
