The Constantines Play Fall Tour

Published: 2004-09-17
In one week, the Constantines will play the first of another round of Canadian gigs in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band will then continue with four more Maritime dates, before carrying on to the Pop Montreal Festival on October 1st. During the nine date tour, the Constantines will share a bill with both Wintersleep (two nights) and the Weakerthans (again, two nights).

The Constantines continue to tour in support of their latest album 'Shine A Light', but the five-piece really has two releases to promote. The band's new label (the legendary Subpop) recently re-released their debut self-titled album. 'The Constantines' was originally released in the summer of 2001 by the band's Canadian label Three Gut Records.

When the Constantines wrap up their fall tour, the plan is to begin work on the follow-up to 'Shine A Light'. For more information about the band and their future plans, go to the Constantine's official site at
