Hayden Tours Western Canada

To support his newest album 'Elk-Lake Serenade' Toronto's Hayden is all set to embark on an extensive tour of North America. After returning from Europe, the singer/songwriter will play a total of 18 dates around the continent. Six of the performances will take place in Hayden's home country (Canada, for those who are counting).

The position of opener goes to Cuff The Duke, the members of which hail from Oshawa, Ontario. Not only will Cuff The Duke warm up the crowd, but they will also play the role of Hayden's backing band.

Unfortunately neither Hayden nor Cuff The Duke will have the opportunity to play in their hometowns on this tour; all of the Canadian fall dates are taking place on the Western side of the country. The North American leg of the tour kicks off on October 12th in Detroit, finishing up in Kansas one month later on November 12th.

Hayden's most recent effort 'Elk-Lake Serenade' was released in May 2004 to some pretty flattering reviews. The album was the follow-up to 2001's 'Skyscraper National Park' which featured the songs 'Dynamite Walls' and 'Carried Away'. To date the musician has released four full-length studio albums all via Hardwood Records, Hayden's own label.

Hayden's upcoming gigs:

October 18 Winnipeg – West End Cultural Centre
October 19 Winnipeg – West End Cultural Centre
October 20 Regina – The Exchange
October 22 Calgary – MacEwan Hall
October 23 Edmonton – Myer Horowitz Theatre
October 26 Vancouver – Vogue Theatre
