The Casualties Take Out Canada

Published: 2004-09-09
Hardcore punk band The Casualties have scheduled a fairly comprehensive tour of Canada for this fall. These New York City boys will be playing loud, fast music for their fans in almost 15 Canadian cities, hitting six provinces in the month of September. 'The Punx Unite' tour has confirmed Lower Class Brats, Antidote, Frontline Attack and Monster Squad to play the USA dates along with The Casualties, but the Canadian line-up hasn't been announced.

The four-piece is touring both Canada and the US in the next three months in order to promote their 2004 album 'On The Front Line'. The record is The Casualties' fifth studio-album and second release for SideOneDummy Records. The band's 2001 effort called 'Die Hards' was also put out by the independent label.

The Casualties already toured earlier this year as part of the Vans Warped Tour. There they played amongst bands that ranged from pop-punkers New Found Glory to legendary punk outfit Bad Religion. In addition to being part of the North American tour, The Casualties played shows in both Europe and Japan this year.

The Casualties' Canadian tour dates:

September 15 Montreal – Foufounes Electriques
September 16 Quebec – L'anti
September 17 Ottawa – Babylon
September 18 Toronto – The Kathedral
September 19 Hamilton – The Underground
