Radio Berlin Meet Another Mountain

Published: 2004-08-27
Although Radio Berlin and Black Mountain had great aspirations for the autumn months, their plans have fallen through. "Due to the 'disappearance'" of their booking agent, the bands were unable to secure any venues in the cities scheduled for their September tour.

Even if Radio Berlin won't be driving clear across the country, they will still be venturing out of Vancouver for a few select dates this year. Both performances the band has confirmed will take place in Alberta at the beginning of September.

Since the four-piece suddenly has a lot of free time on their hands, the members will be working on projects separate from Radio Berlin. Keeping the guys busy this fall will be various other musical ambitions (Primes, Video Kill), photography and the always exciting school. The band has announced that they will not be touring much for the remainder of 2004, but will pick up the pace again in the new year (assuming they find their missing booking agent, that is).

Radio Berlin is also working on the production end of their upcoming EP. The record is called 'The Gauze EP' and has reportedly met as many obstacles as their ill-fated tour.

When the boys in the band are in better spirits, maybe they'll give their North American tour another go. For constant updates go to .

Radio Berlin's upcoming gigs:

September 01 Edmonton – New City
September 02 Calgary – Broken City
October 02 Vancouver – The Lamplighter.
