As some members of the music industry continue to sue people who illegally download music for copyright infringement, others are taking advantage of the medium. Toad The Wet Sprocket, Soul Asylum, and Living Colour are all releasing their new live albums via the internet first. The new albums will be available on Sony/Legacy's – as yet launched – LiveFromTheVaults.com on October 19. Copies of the albums will not hit traditional music stores until January 11. There will be no difference in the track listings or price of the online or retail editions of the albums.

Toad The Wet Sprocket will release "Welcome Home: Live at the Arlington Theatre". The show was recorded in September 1992.

Soul Asylum's album is "After the Flood: Live from the Grand Forks Prom" which was recorded in June of 1997.

Living Colour's live album is "Live at CBGB's" and was recorded in December of 1989.
