Jimmy Page Helps Launch London Walk of Fame

Published: 2004-08-24
One of the greatest guitar players in history - second only to Jimi Hendrix as stated in a previous survey in Total Guitar Magazine - has made history again as the first person on the new London Walk of Fame. Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page put his hand prints in the sidewalk outside the Virgin Music superstore at Piccadilly Circus in London and launched the London Walk of Fame that will feature the greatest in musical talent.

Led Zepplin had nine chart topping albums. Their most famous song "Stairway to Heaven" was never released as a single but became the most requested song on radio.
